I remember when I was a kid my mom used to bring home Hydrox cookies. That was the brand name. They were almost identical to Oreos, but they were cheaper. So that’s the one that was chosen over the more popular Oreos. The Oreos were so much better, so you get what you pay for. Or were they?

Honestly, I look forward every year for girl scout cookies. This year not ONE girl scout came to my house. Therefore, I had to outsource. Now, that I have had every cookie (minus the lemon ones...I can't stand lemon) I'll rank them. What's your favorite girl scout cookie?

According to the latest Foodnetwork.com poll, chips and dip lead the way as America's "go-to snack", but with only 25% of the vote.  (Not the run-away favorite that everyone thought the good ole potato chip was!!) Fresh fruit was also very popular with 24% of the vote. 19% favored.......

Christmas cookies and holiday hearts...that's the way the holiday starts.  After reading about these recipes that song is stuck in my head!!
