October is just a busy as September when it comes to new country music releases. Almost a dozen albums make this list, and that promises to change as the month progresses. Scotty McCreery and Toby Keith have two of the more highly-anticipated new albums, and everyone wants to be sure they have new music on store shelves in time for Christmas.

Get ready for the year's biggest album releases. September typically begins the busy season when it comes to new country music releases, as artists want to have a new album on fans' minds come the Christmas shopping season. Keith Urban, Chris Young and Justin Moore are just three of the stars with new releases to look forward to.

With the current state of affairs here in our country, it gets me a bit worried about our future. Not so much for myself, but for the future generations. Will they enjoy the prosperity that my generation has had? Whether you're a Democrat or Republican is not really the issue...

If you ask me which late night talk show I'm least likely to watch, it's Late Night w/ Jimmy Fallon.  Don't ask me why...I just don't find him funny.  Though, last night's show with Carrie Underwood is the one exception.  There was one bit where Fallon and Underwood performed well known rap songs....the country way.  They called it
