The singer filed for divorce from his wife of 12 years last month, and there has been much speculation that dancer/former 'American Idol' contestant Brittany Kerr may have been the root of the cause, as she was photographed kissing Aldean last year.

Less than a week after reports of their separation, country superstar Jason Aldean and his wife of 12 years have decided to legally end their marriage. The 'Take a Little Ride' hitmaker filed for divorce on Friday (April 26), citing irreconcilable differences.

Jason Aldean and his wife Jessica Ussery have reportedly separated, less than one year after the singer was caught kissing Charlotte Bobcats dancer and former 'American Idol' singer Brittany Kerr. Ussery didn't attend the ACM Awards in Las Vegas earlier this month. Sources indicate the split may have happened as early as January.
