Justin Moore must have had a tough time concentrating on his show in Jacksonville, Fla. on Friday night (Dec. 14). After a national tragedy struck Newtown, Conn. when a young man broke into an elementary school and killed 27 people, many children, Moore had to stop and weep with America.

Country 106.5 WYRK is bringing you 12 Days of a Country Christmas. We've searched our prize closet for a few of our favorite things, including electronics, autographed guitars, posters and more.  Today is day number 4, and if you love to fish and are a fan of Justin Moore, this day is for you.

One of my favorite aspects of being involved in country music and country radio for over 30 years now is the fact that my personal beliefs mirror those of most of the artists that we play here on WYRK. So many of the country artists that we feature on WYRK have similar values to those I hold dear...

This Wednesday -- October 31 -- we celebrate the Halloween holiday nationwide. And some of country's hottest stars are especially excited for the day, as they'll get to relive their own childhoods through the eyes of their children.

It so nice to see nice guys like Justin Moore having continued success.  Justin is a talented singer/songwriter and nice guy to boot.  His recent hits have included "If Heaven Wasn't So Far Away," "Backwoods," "Bait A Hook" and "Small Town USA."  His latest is one of my favorites, and we have the video debut of it!

Justin Moore is being sued by a Nashville songwriter over the singer’s 2009 single ‘Backwoods.’ Bobby Carmichael has filed a federal lawsuit against Moore, claiming that the country hitmaker stole the song from him.

It's always great to catch up with my old buddy Justin Moore! He has been one of my favorites since he started, and after getting to meet him on a few occasions, I can tell you he is as cool in person as he is on the radio/stage!

What was originally just a fender involving one of Justin Moore's tour busses in Illinois turned into a fatal accident over the weekend.  The driver of a car that struck the rear of a bus got out to inspect the damage and was struck and killed by another car that veered out of control on Interstate 57.

I love to see artists have fun like this.  They constantly have to do radio interviews and deal with stupid questions from annoying radio DJs.  So check out Justin's reaction when he gets called a "purse cowboy" by KSON's John & Tammy.

I was home sick most of this week and in between my sleep coma's (I had many) I was able to catch up with CMT and GAC.  I haven't really paid to much attention to video's I think only because when I'm home I try to do other non-work related things.  But man I was impressed with some of the great videos on these channels.  Two of which are brand new, Justin Moore's 'Til My Last Day' and Easton Corb

We took a week off from The Fight last week to observe Good Friday but we're back at it tonight.  It's Justin Moore at week #2 with his song, "'Till My Last Day" taking on Scotty McCreery, "Water Tower Town".  It's Friday Night!  Let's get it on!!

Ashton Kutcher appeared Academy of Country Music Awards this past Sunday. Kutcher came out to present an award in old fashioned country attire, cowboy hat and did a rendition of George Strait ‘I Cross Your Heart’. It didn’t Justin Moore long to share  his opinion on Twitter.
