Last week I was lucky enough to be able to talk with the guys from A Thousand Horses as they stopped through for our Taste Of Country concert.  Aside from the fact that they were all so much taller than me, I learned all kinds of stuff about the guys including where the interesting band name came from.

There's so much to do the day of the big show when it comes through here in Buffalo.  Our Taste of Country show has been a sell out the last few years, and we are proud of the show that we are able to bring in.  There's a lot that goes on behind the scenes that you don't get to see.  This is a little of what that looked like this year.

If you were at the Taste of Country on Friday or if you were on Facebook at all on Saturday morning, you may have seen that a little boy named Andrew was lucky enough to join Dierks Bentley on stage in Buffalo for a few minutes. Dierks mentioned that he had met Andrew backstage and learned his story about how he beat brain cancer.

Andrew just found out that he officially beat brain cancer. At the WYRK Toyota Taste of Country 2015 in Buffalo, New York, Dierks Bentley stopped the show to recognize Andrew, a little boy who beat brain cancer. He met Dierks back stage and really touched Dierks with his sign that said 'I Held On' in reference to the Country star's hit tune 'I Hold On'. ...

Of course, the party after the party was a riot with Canaan Smith at the Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino downtown after the Toyota Taste of Country! But things got even more interesting when Canaan brought a couple on stage with him.
