April 11, 2013 With the addition of Dale Jarrett, the nominees for this year's NASCAR Hall of Fame class are now complete. Jarrett has 32 Cup victories and was the Cup champion in 1999. The nominees will be narrowed to five inductees and announced on May 22nd. The Hall was opened in May of 2010 and currently has 20 members.
November 2, 2012 Tony Stewart is the defending race winner, but Jimmie Johnson is the points leader heading into the final three races in the Chase for the Sprint Cup Championship. Johnson moved past Brad Keselowski and took a 2-point lead in the Cup standings with his victory last Sunday at Martinsville Speedway.

April 13, 2012 After taking last weekend off for Easter NASCAR returns this week and is under the lights for the first time since what turned out to be an exciting Monday night Daytona 500 in February. Nationwide drivers are on the track Friday night with Sprint Cup drivers resuming the schedule Saturday night at the mile and a half Texas Motor Speedway.
November 7, 2011 Two races left in the Chase for the Sprint Cup and it look's like it might go down to the final lap of the final race. Tony Stewart won again yesterday at Texas Motor Speedway giving him four victories in the eight races so far in the Chase
November 4, 2011 It’s a triple-header weekend at Texas Motor Speedway including the eighth race in the Chase for the Sprint Cup championship. The trucks run tonight, Nationwide goes tomorrow and the Sprint Cup race is on Sunday and it’s looking like it’ll be a two-man battle for the title.
Tony Stewart has won three of the first seven races in the Chase so far including last week at Martinsville. Combined with points leader Carl Edwards’ ninth place finish, Stewart is only 8 points back.
April 10, 2011 Another driver besides Dale Earnhardt, Junior who hadn’t won in a long time finally did Saturday night at Texas Motor Speedway. Matt Kenseth finally made it back to victory lane after a dominating performance leading 169 of 334 laps at the mile and a half track. His margin of victory was an incredible 8.3 seconds. It’s his 19th career victory, but first since February of 2009 to end a winless streak that had stretched to 76 races. He won the 2009 Daytona 500 and won again the following week in California, but nothing since.
April 8, 2011 Sprint Cup and Nationwide drivers will be racing under the lights at Texas Motor Speedway this weekend - Nationwide on Friday night and Sprint Cup Saturday night. If there's any one driver who's got momentum heading into the weekend it's Kevin Harvick.
