November 10, 2011 Most people are well aware by now that Jason Aldean won the CMA for "Album of the Year". His CD "My Kinda Party" has spent many weeks on the country charts, probably the most of any artist this year. To me, it's no surprise that Aldean took home that award. November 2, 2011 Toby Keith's first album for Dreamworks Records was a huge one. It was his first CD since parting ways with Mercury records and it went platinum. With the singles, "You Shouldn't Kiss Me Like This", "Country Comes To Town", and the title track, "How Do You Like Me Now?!" Toby Keith began to really make his mark on country music.

October 21, 2011 Toby Keith’s new CD “Clancy’s Tavern” comes out this Monday 10/24 but you can win it before you can buy this weekend from WYRK. I had a chance to hear the CD and enjoyed what I heard including the title track ‘Clancy’s Tavern’ which is terrific story song, I felt like I was at the tavern having drinks…I could picture it all just listening to the song. This Album from Toby is so well rounded and his voice has never sounded better.
October 10, 2011 When Toby Keith was at DarienLake this summer I had the chance to hear some of the new songs he recorded including a song called 'Red Solo Cup'. I had a couple of drinks that night served in red solo cups too so it was easy to think the song was super funny. Well it wasn't the drinks, this song is funny no matter what.

October 4, 2011 Toby Keith’s number 1 song “Made In America” was almost not made by Toby. Word is Toby almost passed on the single because he had already released numerous patriotic toned songs and he thought it might be to much of a good thing. It was song writer Bobby Pinson who pushed the idea of recording “Made In America” on Toby and thank goodness he was able to sway Toby into recording it. And the rest they say is history!
