University at Buffalo

He won a MAC Championship in his very first year as the head coach for The Bulls.  He also took his team to the NCAA tournament and won 20 games this season.  Today, The Bulls rewarded Head Coach Nate Oats to a 5 year contract at UB.

UB continues their Concert Tailgate Series this fall with some incredible acts.  This past weekend, Thompson Square warmed up the crowd at Stampede Square before the Bulls season opening win against Albany.  I was able to sit down and talk with them before their show, and we found out a little bit more about their pregnancy.

Thompson Square opened the University at Buffalo Tailgate Concert series with a bang. The duo brought amazing energy out and had the football fans dancing, despite the extreme heat! Summer may be coming to an end, but that doesn't mean the fun has to end.  Fall brings football.  This year UB is back with their Concert Tailgate Series and the first one coming through is just a few days away on September 5th with Thompson Square!

If you haven't heard it already, The UB men's basketball team has made it to the NCAA's Division I men's basketball tournament.  They will be taking on West Virginia this Friday at 2:10pm.  Today they sent out a video to say thank you for the support, ask for more support and tell you that they're ready to represent Buffalo.

The UB Bulls Men's Basketball Team made history over the weekend.  First they went on to  beat Akron and win the MAC Championship on Friday night.  Which helped them secure a spot in the NCAA Tournament.  Watch as they heard it announced live:
