Halloween is right around the corner.  Soon the kids will be dressing up and getting free candy.  But the freebies aren't just for the kiddos this year!

According to Offers.com, there are freebies all over the country for Halloween.  And you don't even have to dress up for some of them.  I mean, it's a good idea to put pants on if you're going out in public, but a costume isn't necessary for all of them.

These are national chains however, so I do want to advise you to call your local store to make sure the offer is eligible for your location. Participation may vary by location and franchise.

  • Applebee’s: The specialty Zombie Cocktail is $1 every day in October. What's in it you ask?  How about rum, pineapple, passion fruit, cherry and lime flavors, and is garnished with a gummy “brain”.  Time to get your drink on.

  • Bass Pro Shops: Enjoy the free Great Pumpkin Celebration (Oct. 26 through 31). Get in on free crafts, free pictures with the Peanuts gang and more.

Plus, this year, Burger King will offer the new Nightmare King Sandwich ($6.39) at participating locations starting Oct. 22.
