Things To Do Instead Of Watching The Sabres

Things are going a lot different this season than most Sabres fans figured they would.  I'm one of them.  With all additions to the lineup, the upgrades at First Niagara Center including the new locker room I guess we figured the Sabres were on their way to winning it all.  Hasn't worked out that way.

Coming off that awful game in Pittsburgh the Sabres play again tonight.  Instead of the aggravation of watching the game here are a few things you could be doing instead.

Last minute Christmas shopping.  There are always those odds and ends, stocking stuffers and the like we need time to shop for.  Instead of the game - here's your chance.

Helping the wife with frosting Christmas cookies.  She bakes 'em and asks for help with the finishing touches.

You could go out for a movie.  It's been a long time since I actually went to a theatre to see a current movie.  And this time of year is when some of the best movies of the year come out.

How about visiting with family, friends or neighbors?  We always have good intentions but often we just don't find the time.  Tonight might be the night.

There are about a half dozen projects around the house Shelley has been after me to get done.  I just don't ever seem to be able to find the time.  There's a couple of hours available tonight.  

I'll give you one guess what I'm likely to be doing tonight.
