Toby Keith Will Host The CMT Video Awards [VIDEO]

Toby Keith will host this year’s 2012 CMT Music Awards along with actress Kristen Bell on June 6^th live on CMT.  It’s the shows 11^th year and Toby has appeared on every show to date but not quite like this. Over the years I’ve become more and more a fan of Toby’s and I’ll be rooting for him as this year’s host, but It’s going to be interesting because Toby is a very laid back guy with sort of a dry delivery I can’t wait to see how he does.  Toby's 'Red Solo' cup video has certainly made a splash on YouTube and  CMT and it is nominated for video of the year.

The show won’t be lacking as far as performer’s, so far Kenny Chesney, Lady Antebellum, Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood and The Zac Brown Band have all signed on to play.  The awards un-officially kick off the CMA music festival.  Voting is open in most the video categories now at CMT.com.
