Clint Black came on the country scene in 1989 with his debut album, "Killin' Time."  He released 5 singles from that CD.  Four of them climbed to the top of the Billboard Country Singles Chart.  The other one topped out at #3.

It really says something about you as an artist when your first four singles go to #1.  Clint Black started out with "A Better Man" and followed it up with the title track, "Killin' Time", a single that finally topped the charts on October 14th, 1989.

Clint went on to follow that chart topper with two more from that CD, "Nobody's Home" and "Walkin' Away".
