Today marks two (2) 100 year old birthdays. Angus MacDonald and the OREO Cookie. Now everyone knows of the delicious chocolate cookie treat but do you know who Angus is?

Happy Birthday Angus. According to msn now, Angus MacDonald was one month old when the Titanic left Belfast en route to Southampton, and he and his mother were on the docks when she departed. He is believed to be the last living person to have seen the ship in person. MacDonald, a retired Master Mariner, returned to that harbor to celebrate his 100th birthday.

Happy Birthday Oreo Cookie. According to The New York Times, it all started on March 6, 1912, when The National Biscuit Company sold its first Oreo sandwich cookies to S.C. Thuesen, a grocer in Hoboken, New Jersey.

The New York Post reports that the Oreo cookie was born at what is now a New York tourist hotspot and home to Food Network Studios, Chelsea Market. Chelsea Market was once the headquarters for the National Biscuit Company, which would later go by Nabisco.

So what was the point of this story? I'm wondering if Angus had an OREO cookie cake to celebrate his birthday?
