Ultimate Recycling Event Coming Soon To Western New York

Earth Day is coming up soon and to commemorate the day, there is a huge recycling event coming to Western New York.

When is Earth Day?

Earth Day is coming up on Monday, April 22, 2024.  It's been described as a movement to help make the world a better place.  It started back in the 70's and is still continuing today.

How can you help?

There are tons of things you can do to join in.  You could do something as big as organizing a cleanup session in your town, or something smaller like just making the effort to find a recycling bin instead of a trash bin when you have to throw something out.

Recycling events are already starting to fill up

If you're hoping to do some recycling either to celebrate Earth Day or even just to clean out an area of your house, there's a huge recycling event coming soon.

This Saturday, electronics recycling organization Sunnking has teamed up with Goodwill to hold what they're calling the "Ultimate Earth Day Spring Cleaning Event."

When is it?

The event will take place this Saturday, April 20th from 8:30am - 12:00pm

The Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls USA

What can I donate?

The coolest thing about this event is that it's not just one thing or the other.  While they do have complete lists of things that they can and cannot accept, you will be able to recycle electronics, donate household items, or drop off both at the same time, and it's free to do!

This is the most important part.  While it is free to take part, you have to register before you come, and spots are almost filled up. It's simple to do.  Click here to get registered.

They have said that if all of the original spots fill up, they will add more appointments and extend the event to 2pm.
