Two of the most nominated artists at the 2014 CMA Awards learned they were winners before the show even started. Dierks Bentley has won the Music Video of the Year award, while Keith Urban and Miranda Lambert took Musical Event of the Year.

Urban and Lambert's hit song 'We Were Us' beat out other nominees like 'Somethin' Bad' and Tim McGraw's 'Meanwhile Back at Mama's.' Bentley's 'Drunk on a Plane' bested videos like Lady Antebellum's 'Bartender' and Lambert's 'Somethin' Bad.' Both awards were announced Wednesday morning (Nov. 5) on 'Good Morning America.'

The 2014 CMA Awards begin at 8PM ET on ABC Wednesday. Lambert leads all artists with nine nominations, including Entertainer of the Year. Bentley leads the men with five nominations, including Male Vocalist of the Year. During an interview Taste of Country, he said the Song of the Year award would be the most special to win.
