Former Sabre first-round draft choice Zach Kassian led the Vancouver Canucks to a 4-2 win over the Sabres Sunday night in Vancouver.  Kassian assisted on all four Vancouver goals in the comeback victory.  Heading into the game he had only 8 assists for the season and hadn't scored more than one assist in any one game.

The Sabres started strong scoring twice early in the first period to take a 2-0 lead, but the Canucks took over the game and finished with a 36-18 advantage in shots on goal.

Rookie goaltender Nathan Lieuwen got the start in goal and had a shaky outing allowing two soft goals including the game winner in the second period.

The Sabres continue their road trip Tuesday night in Montreal.
