I have a very fast metabolism, but if I didn’t keep up with a healthy diet and regular exercise, I would get the biggest beer gut in WNY. But besides those obvious ways of staying in shape, here is another tip that I found that may help you shed a few unwanted pounds.It’s simple and something that, unlike other weight loss tricks, is actually enjoyable: SLEEP!
Yes, diet and exercise are major factors in losing weight. However, scientists have discovered that a poor night’s sleep can trigger a vicious cycle of unhealthy snacking throughout the day. Plus, tiredness and lack of concentration were found to make people crave sugary and fatty foods to compensate.
I have found that if I don’t get the right amount of sleep, I crave things like pop or donuts or other sugary foods. Plus, when I get more sleep, I have more energy and the drive to work out harder and longer.
If I haven’t put you to sleep yet, maybe tonight, hit the sack a bit earlier and start slimming down!
