Wendy Lynn and Dean Catch a Car Fire and Call 911

This is something you don't ever want to see.  An SUV caught fire while parked at the corner of East Chippewa and Washington Streets in Buffalo.  Like most people these days, The Dean of Country and I reached for cells to take video and then called 911.  I kicked myself in doing so, obviously we should have called 911 first.

Thankfully the fire had already been reported and the fire department was already 1 minute away.

The video shows the smoke billowing from the hood, but it is hard to see the point where flames shot out from the top of the hood and flames underneath the vehicle were followed by a loud bang sound as the SVU got hotter and more engulfed in flames.
