It was Camp Day at Tim Horton's this past Wednesday.  All proceeds from coffee sales were dedicated to send kids from low-income families to camp this summer. Last summer 18,000 kids were able to enjoy 10 days at one of seven summer camps in the U.S. and Canada.

This year Tim Horton's is looking to send 19,000 kids to camp.  It takes about 60 cups of coffee to send a kid to camp for a day.

To help Tim Horton's achieve their goal WYRK sent me out to the South Transit Road, Lockport Tim Horton's.  And to help speed things along I took a turn at the drive-thru for a few minutes to take orders.  I'm not sure if I really was helping, but it was fun anyway.
