11 p.m.: Thanks for hanging in there with us tonight, everyone! Hope you enjoyed the show. We’ll have more coverage tomorrow morning with The Breakfast Club!
Adios from Nashville. Congrats Blake Shelton! twitter.com/RobBanks_WYRK/…
— Rob Banks WYRK (@RobBanks_WYRK) November 2, 2012

10:56 p.m.: Alright, we’re up to the last award of the night! And Blake Shelton is the CMA Awards’ Entertainer of the Year! He’s genuinely shocked. “I don’t know how this happened….I freakin’ love it though!” Shelton says.
Big night for Blake Shelton – Male Vocalist & Entertainer OTY.Think The Voice was a good career move?
— Dale Mussen (@DaleMussen) November 2, 2012
So, who did you guys think would win?

10:41 p.m.: We’re starting to wind down the night with a tribute to Willie Nelson. Lady A kicks things off with their renditions of “Always On My Mind” and “Crazy”.
Next up: Blake Shelton and Keith Urban doing “Whiskey River”.
And finally, Faith and Tim get in on the action with “A Good-Hearted Woman”.
Oh, wait — maybe not “finally”. Willie Nelson himself is up there now, singing “On The Road Again”!
If you don’t like Willie Nelson there is a good chance we won’t get along
— Clay Moden (@ClayModen) November 2, 2012
10:32 p.m: The girls from ‘Nashville’ present Female Vocalist of the Year…to Miranda Lambert. Keeping Male and Female Vocalist in the family this year!
@1065wyrk They are the country power couple to be reckoned with!

— Clay Moden (@ClayModen) November 2, 2012
Here’s how the WYRK audience voted:

10:28 p.m.: Kenny Chesney brings us back from commercials with “Come Over”.

10:20 p.m.: Martina McBride presents Male Vocalist of the Year, which goes to Blake Shelton. It’s his third time winning the award. He’s surprised, and admits he thought Jason Aldean or Luke Bryan was going to win.
@1065wyrk Blaaaaaake!!!!!
— Amy (@My2girls10) November 2, 2012
You guys were close on this one!

10:16 p.m.: “An Idol singing with an icon” is the intro for Kelly Clarkson and Vince Gill, who are performing their new duet, “Don’t Rush”…which is almost jazzy, actually.
This song sounds like it should be on an 8 track player. I like it …soul, sexy and vintage
— Clay Moden (@ClayModen) November 2, 2012
10:09 p.m.: OK, I can’t have been the only one LOL’ing at Brad’s intro of Jason Aldean, can I? Anywho, Aldean’s playing “Take A Little Ride,” which is just ridiculously catchy.
Aldean!! Crank it up!!! #CMA
— Clay Moden (@ClayModen) November 2, 2012
10:06 p.m.: Vocal Group of the Year is a tough category — lots of talent. The award goes to Little Big Town, who also picked up Single of the Year earlier.
Sorry… @zacbrownband got Screwed again. Totally disagree with that one. Love @lbtmusic but that one was wrong….
— Brett Alan (@WYRKBrett) November 2, 2012
