WYRK Listeners Getting Ready For Archery Season

Bowhunting season begins October 15th here in Western New York. I have been getting phones calls and emails from WYRK listeners who are getting ready for the 2011 archery season. Count my son Tyler in as well. He just picked up a new Matthews bow and has been practicing like crazy. I have been dusting off the old Hoyt and getting her ready for probably her last season (new bow on the way for 2012).

Many bowhunters have their trailcams set up and working to see what's actually going by their treestands. It's a wonderful way to scout your area. I wanted to share a trailcam photo from Art in Niagara County. He tells me he has been tracking this buck for three years but has not had the perfect shot....yet!
