5 Things I Hope Stay The Same After The Pandemic
COVID-19 has been hard on some of us. It's a new-normal. I also realize we are sick of hearing that phrase.
But, think of all the good things that we can keep with this new way we have been living. From lifestyle to home to food, there could be some good outcomes from this. What else would you add to the list?
- 1
Chiavetta's Chicken
They have been legit EVERYWHERE since COVID-19 began. Whether it is a school, a dog park, the boy scouts, or the local Moose Club, almost everyone has done a chicken BBQ fundraiser. Only in Buffalo do you come across the greatness of Chiavetta's and we're here for it.
There's a whole list you can find of all of the fundraisers and they certainly are not slowing down so far. If you're craving Chiavetta's you can always go to the location on Fisk Road in Lockport to get your fix every day.

Curbside Pickups
Lets be honest--this has been customer service at its finest. For crying out loud you can call the liquor store and they'll bring your alcohol to you. Not getting out of the car is a dream and we are all for the curbside pick up. Saves your time and energy.
- 3
DMV
Everyone has to go to the DMV. EVERYONE. George Strait doesn't even get a pass. You have to go in-person when you need most things. But, how nice is it lately that you have to schedule a time. Which means = NO WAITING. No taking a number, not going and wondering if you will be there for 30 minutes or 2 hours. Now, you can be confident that you can go on your lunch break and it will get done in time.

The Cleanliness
It's been an eye-opener to see how many places and establishments did not clean as much as we thought. Keep cleaning. Keep washing your hands. And keep that hand sanitizer available. Why on earth weren't we doing this before.

Going Into The Office
I mean.....isn't it nice working from home? Some of you might miss your co-workers, we get it. But, the convenient factor cannot be beat: no waking up to get extra ready, not having to beat traffic and park and you don't have to rush out of work to pick up the kids. Not to mention, everyone that HAS to go to the office, does not mind the lighter traffic. Plus, it's good for the environment. Lets roll with this one for years after COVID-19.
