This Massive Musky Shocked Fishermen in New York State

If you’re fishing in New York State, there are some things you simply don’t expect to see. From the Adirondack Mountains to Lake Erie, New York offers some of the best freshwater fishing in the country, and this summer is shaping up to be a great time to get out on the water.

But every now and then, something happens that turns an ordinary fishing trip into a story you’ll be telling for years.

A couple of friends of mine from Deer Tippin’ TV recently experienced one of those unforgettable moments while bass fishing in New York State on the St. Lawrence River!

Can you imagine reaching for your stringer, expecting to find a few bass, only to discover a 54-inch musky attached to it?

That’s exactly what happened.

Their Instagram video has already been viewed by thousands of people, and it still doesn’t seem real. If I didn’t know these guys personally, I might have wondered whether it was an AI-generated video. But this was the real deal—and certainly one of the wildest fishing stories I’ve heard in a long time.
