Did you plan out you weekend yet? No? Well here’s some suggestions to help make it a memorable weekend!

I’ve been on a quest to find new and exciting things around Buffalo and Western New York to try this summer, and in turn, I’m sharing my findings with you! This week, I had to mention one of my favorite festivals of the summer -- the Allentown Art Festival!

Even if you're not big on the whole art thing, you are still going to want to check this festival out. I LOVE this one because I may be art challenged, but the people that have work here are definitely amazing at what they do!

This year is the 56th year the festival is running in the Historic Allentown District of Buffalo.  The Festival runs today and tomorrow and is located on Allen Street and Delaware Avenue. Just looking over the list of vendors they have coming, I’m getting excited. There are booths for Jewelry, Painting, Photography, Sculptures and more.  Father’s Day is next weekend, and you might be able to find him something truly unique that he will love!

The other part of this festival is the FOOD!  Oh, you haven't tasted such amazing food 'till you check out some of these festivals. I could go just to eat. So this weekend, make some time to experience the Allentown Art Festival.

Another great event that will get you experiencing Buffalo is happening at the Erie Basin Marina tomorrow.  It’s the 29th Annual Penn Dixie Nature Cruise and Buffalo Lighthouse Tour.  It kicks off tomorrow at 8:30 a.m. -- I know I can hear you say it’s a Sunday and that’s super early, but it’s definitely worth it! This tour is a 3-hour cruise in the Buffalo Harbor, Lake Erie, Niagara River, and the Black Rock Canal. You’ll spend the morning learning all about the birds, fish, and other features along Buffalo’s Waterfront. Following the cruise you’ll even have the chance to visit the Lighthouse and climb to the top for a amazing view of Buffalo, Canada, and the waterfront. Seriously when are you going to have the chance to experience such breathe taking views!  Getting up early doesn’t sound so bad now does it!

Also this week, if you are looking for something to do to break up the work week, definitely take in a concert. Tuesdays, Artpark has these awesome shows you should check out.  Yes, it's a little drive to Artpark since it’s in Lewiston, but seriously, the concerts are fantastic, and the venue is awesome. This Tuesday, Artpark welcomes Joan Jett and the Blackhearts to the stage. Concerts take place rain or shine and kick off at 6:30 p.m.
