There is another food recall that has been announced that impacts a certain item sold at Wegmans.

As we get ready for February to start, all eyes have been on the rising food prices across the United States. Here in New York State, officials are trying to prevent any outbreak of the Avian/Bird Flu that has driven the price of eggs to a new high.

But this new food alert it not about price, it is about pieces of bone that may be in certain packages of chicken nuggets.

According to reports and a new release from Wegmans, there are concerns that its Food You Feel Good About Chicken Breast Nuggets may contain bone pieces. The nuggets were sold in 46-ounce bags and had a best by date of August 26th, 2025.

Just toss them if you have them or take them back to get your money back.

There are actually food alerts and recalls happening almost everyday. The FDA Recall website is a perfect way to stay on top of what is being monitored. For example, a bread crumb recall "La Fiesta Food Products, LLC, La Mirada, CA is recalling 8 oz packages of La Fiesta brand Unseasoned Bread Crumbs (Pan Rayado) and Seasoned Bread Crumbs (Pan Rayado Sazonado). The products contain sesame as an undeclared allergen. Additionally, the labels do not include the allergen declaration in Spanish".

With a new administration back in the White House, it will be interesting to see what, if any chances come to the FDA and to the types of foods/ingredients will be restricted or changed.
