Another Massive Juice Recall Impacts New York State
As the new school year begins here in New York State, there are reports of yet another massive recall.
The summer is fading and the fall is creeping in. Across New York State, families are settling back to a regular routine. That might include eating better, sleeping better and getting things done around the house.
But thanks to a constant news cycle, it is easier for families to stay on top of the potential dangers that might pop up when they shop for things like groceries. It seems that we are getting more alerts about recalls than ever! While some feel that it may be overkill, there are others who praise the flow of information.

According to multiple reports, an apple juice that is sold at stores like Walmart is being recalled due to elevated levels of arsenic. Walmart's website indicates that product as "Great Value; 8oz Apple Juice in 6 pack; 100% Juice; packaged in 8 oz. PET plastic bottles; UPC 0-78742-29655-5".
As far as other recalls, the FDA is constantly updating a variety of product recalls including a recent cinnamon powder recall.
