Another Wheel of Fortune Miscue

It happened again this week on Wheel of Fortune.  The solution was so obvious but the contestant mispronounced a word and lost.  But in this case he was in line to win a million dollars.  The problem was he'd never heard of the middle word in the puzzle and tried to sound it out, but it wasn't good enough.  The judges rejected it.
