Hunting season has arrived, and across New York State archery hunters are in the woods to try to track down a big buck, or giant black bear. It is arguably the best time of the year to be in the woods and the deer seem to be just about everywhere this fall.

There is a secret that those of us who hunt know very well. There is way more to enjoy when you are hunting, than actually killing animals. The excitement of being in camp with friends and family, the great weather, the great food and stories make it an experience like no other. I would also argue that the drive to camp is equally as exciting and fun.

But every good experience needs a good playlist! There are some fantastic songs on Country radio right now that either drop a few lines about hunting, or are altogether outdoor specific.
