In the interest of public safety the NFL has notified the Buffalo Bills that in light of the ongoing weather emergency, Sunday’s Jets-Bills game will not be played in Buffalo. Instead it is being moved to Detroit.

After taking all things into consideration the NFL has rescheduled the game for Monday night at 7 pm at Ford Field in Detroit.  Bills President Russ Brandon says their major  concern is focused on the safety of the fans. As far as the business aspect of this, essentially every individual who purchased a ticket through the Bills, whether it be through the Bills at the box office, through Ticketmaster or Ticket Exchange, will get a refund.  They're still working on a way to honor tickets for fans who wish to make the trip to Detroit.

The NFL has been in contact with the public authorities and realize the importance of all available public safety resources being available for the community at this difficult time.  The NFL is also in discussions with both teams and the Red Cross on ways the NFL can support the community through this weather disaster.
