Bills Coordinator Interviewing Second Time For Giants Head Coach

The season is officially over for the Buffalo Bills, after their soul-crushing overtime loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, 42-36 in overtime in the AFC Divisional Round.

The loss comes despite Bills quarterback Josh Allen completing 27 of 37 passes for 329 yards and 4 touchdowns. Allen completed 48 of 62 passes for 637 yards and 9 touchdowns with zero turnovers. He also rushed for 137 yards, in what was a legendary two-game stretch in the playoffs.

The Bills lost because of their defense, which allowed nearly 600 yards of total offense to the Chiefs and an inexcusable defensive strategy with 13 seconds left in regulation to allow thee Chiefs to get into field goal range to kick the game-typing field goal, and send it into overtime.

The Bills offseason now begins and so does the wait to see if they lose both of their coordinators.

Last week, the New York Giants hired Bills assistant general manager, Joe Schoen to be their next general manager, and now, it looks like the Bills offensive coordinator could become the next head coach of the Giants.

According to Tom Pelissaro of The NFL Network, the Giants are interviewing Bills offensive coordinator, Brain Daboll for their head coach opening. It's the second interview Daboll will have with the Giants and the first known finalist for the job.

With Schoen now the GM with the Giants, hiring Daboll to fix their offensive woes seems like a no-brainer, and would mean the Bills have to figure out what they will do at the OC position.

Promoting quarterbacks coach and passing game coordinator Ken Dorsey would be the logical choice, but would Dorsey become the OC with the Giants with Daboll?

If Daboll and Dorsey leave, then chances are the Bills will have a new offensive scheme to work with next season, which would not be ideal.

If Daboll leaves, it's paramount the Bills keep Dorsey on board. We shall see what happens.
