Two Players Ruled Out For The Buffalo Bills In Week 11
The Buffalo Bills will try to get back on track after a disastrous loss to the Miami Dolphins last week in Florida. But if they're going to do it, as of now, they'll have to do it without two players. That number could change on Sunday.
It feels like the Buffalo Bills are constantly playing without one of their starting players. It's like it's a rule that they aren't allowed to play with their whole starting offense in any single game this year. When one comes back from a lengthy injury, another goes out.
The Bills will be playing without Dalton Kincaid on Sunday
When he's on the field, he's made a huge difference for the Bills. Keeping him on the field has been the struggle. Dalton Kincaid was still nursing a knee injury that he received last year to start the year. He seemed to be just about recovered from that when he went down with a hamstring injury last week against the Dolphins. Today, coach Sean McDermott already ruled him out of Sunday's game against the Bucs.
McDermott also ruled out defensive tackle Phidarian Mathis as he has been sidelined with a shoulder injury.
Shakir is headed in the right direction
The good news today was that Khalil Shakir seems to be trending upward with his rib injury. According to McDermott in an interview today, Shakir "Should be in a good spot for the game."
It would be a huge blow to the Bills offense to be without two of their top receivers in a game that they are desperate to win.
The Bills could get multiple players back this week
Even better news is that the Buffalo Bills could get quite a few more players back from injury that they've missed. Players like Christian Benford, Taron Johnson, Shaq Thompson, AJ Epenesa, Josh Palmer, TJ Sanders, and Dorian Williams, who have all been missing from the roster the last couple of weeks, were all full participants in practice. Some of them are still questionable for Sunday, but they're trending in the right direction.
The Bills take on the Bucs at 1 pm on Sunday at Highmark Stadium.
