Bad News For DJ Moore? Sherfield Elevated From Bills’ Practice Squad
The Bills just announced some roster moves prior to their Monday night matchup against the Rams, which many are assuming means bad news for Bills receiver DJ Moore.
The Bills Made 3 Roster Moves On Monday
The Bills just announced three moves on their roster prior to the Monday Night game against the LA Rams. They included signing cornerback Anthony Kendall from the practice squad. They also elevated Phidarian Mathis and Trent Sherfield from the practice squad to the active roster for tonight.
They also released OLB Mike Danna.
Does this mean bad news for DJ Moore?
Normally when the Bills elevate someone like they did today, it means that the starter will not be able to go. We already know that Ed Oliver will be out this week. So the elevation of Phidarian Matthews isn't a big surprise. However, the Bills also already declared Joshua Palmer out as well. For that, they have already announced that rookie Skyler Bell will be making his NFL debut.
So the next guess would be that Trent Sherfield is being elevated to fill the role that DJ Moore would have been filling. Moore has been listed as questionable all week, so is this a sign that he will also be out?
The official inactive list is due soon
We will know soon enough. The Bills have until 90 minutes before the game to announce their official inactive list tonight.
We will not only be watching to see who the Bills rule out, but also the Rams. They're keeping an eye on Aaron Donald, Jaylen Watson, and Colby Parkinson.
