Butterfly Release Event in WNY Will Be Fun For The Kids

If you have kids, the Butterfly Release Day sounds like it is a great activity to bring the kids to this Summer!

There is a farm out in the Clarence area that has so much fun all summer long. It is the Kelkenberg Farm and they are constantly doing fun activities out at the farm for families. Coming up their sunflower field will be open for you to come visit, take pictures and even cut some of your own flowers to bring home. Sunflower Field Days will begin the first week in August.

Right after the opening of the sunflower field, there will be 2 days on the calendar for butterfly release days!

Kelkenberg Farm will have these days you can take a butterfly that is ready to be released and let it go in the sunflower field. Those two days will be Saturday, August 7 and Friday, August 13.

Do you have to bring your own butterfly? How does this work?

The farm will provide the butterflies for you! All you are going to have to do is go to their website the WEEK before the event and reserve your butterfly for the kids! Kelkenberg Farm has so many activities to entertain the kids including baby animals that can be pet, pony rides, a barrel-pull tractor ride and so much more!
