The cool part about the Western New York food scene is the array of different dining options at your disposal.

You can grab a quick lunch, spend time at a brewery with appetizers, or grab pizza and wings at a local pizzeria.

Western New York also has a wide selection of amazing fine dining restaurants and one of the most popular are Italian restaurants, which Buffalo has plenty of.

One of the most beloved Italian restaurants in the northtowns is switching locations, which will be the second time.

According to Buffalo Business First, Carmine's will be moving from its current location at 9430 Transit Road in East Amherst, but the good news is that it won't be going too far.

Carmine's is headed up the road at 7170 Transit Road in Williamsville. The new location will give Carmine's its own building again.

The new location is the old Novel Restaurant, which closed in 2019 and will have 1,500 square feet more in space than their current East Amherst location. The new building offers a dining capacity of 150 and even has its own banquet facility.

If you remember, Carmine's old building on Transit Road near Sheridan, caught fire in 2015 and was destroyed. They moved up the road in 2017 to open the current location.

Carmine's will close on August 21st and reopen roughly one month later at the new location at 7170 Transit Road, which will give the location its own building once again and be a welcomed site for regulars.
