Did Every 90’s Western New York Kid Have One Of These?
The fall will be here in just a few weeks and across Buffalo and Western New York, families are getting ready for back-to-school! If you have little ones getting ready to go back, now is the time to look for those deals for the supplies they will need.
It seems that the summer has gone by faster than ever! With dozens of events, parties and little league games, it sure feels like this was the fastest summer yet.
But as we still enjoy the last few days of the summer, I couldn't help but think back to when I was going to school in the 1990's.

I saw a story today that mentioned dial-up internet going away! The old school way for getting online will be long gone and kids today will never know that feeling of waiting and listening for the line to connect. USA Today reports that: "A company webpage titled "Dial-up Internet to be discontinued" states that the service will stopped on Sept. 30".
But along with waiting for the computer to connect, those who are old enough might remember the gear that we "had to have". While we were shopping online for our kids's backpacks, I thought about the classic backpack that most of the kids in our high school had in the 1990's that are still available today.
The JANSPORT backpack, the one with the leather on the bottom, was a staple for the kids in our school in the 1990's. If your kids want to have a throwback look this fall, Jansport backpacks are still on the rack at many stores and will cost between $30 and $70!
If you have kids going back, and they are in elementary school or preschool, there are some good deals on designs like Minecraft for a great price.
