$4.39 A Gallon In Buffalo For Gas? Here’s How To Save
Ouch! It hurts to think about the prices of gas right now and according to what we are being told, it is only going to get worse!
The price per gallon at many Western New York gas stations has gone to $4.39 a gallon and climbing. But what can we do to save money here or there? Some experts say there are a few things besides just parking your vehicle that will help. One of the tips seems more scientific than others. CapitalCadillac.com says:
Buy gas early or late in the day
- Gas is cooler earlier in the day, and more dense. As temperatures rise, gas density falls and you get less of it when you pump.
I have seen drivers slowing down on the roads lately as well. If you are on the Thruway, you may notice that the pace is down a little more than normal. My guess is that others are also thinking about reducing speed to save gas. Downloading a gas App, riding a bike or walking and even keeping your tires inflated properly will all help to save gas and cash in the long run.
The price of gas has also hit extraordinary levels in Canada as well.
What will be next? Overnight the price of oil went to levels we haven't seen in a long , long time as crude hit $130 per barrel!
