Buffalo has plenty of great and expensive houses on the market, and this mansion is one of the best we've seen in a while.

As rents and mortgage rates continue to rise, it's beginning to have a real impact on those who are looking for new housing in Western New York and what they can afford to buy or rent.

That, however, hasn't stopped some great houses from going on the market in the 716. Take this huge house in the Park Meadow neighborhood in North Buffalo for example.

Sitting on more than 1.25 acres right in the middle of the city, this mansion sits back some from the street and has 8 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms, and nearly 7,000 square feet of living space. Constructed in 1930, the inside of this place is equally as great with granite and other stone throughout the house, 4 separate gas fireplaces, and heated hardwood and marble floors.

The kitchen, which is my favorite part of the house, features all of the high-end appliances and finishes you would expect in a mansion.

The exterior of this house has a 3-car garage with an amazing backyard that has an inground heated pool, a pool house, and a terrace that overlooks much of the yard of the property.

This mansion is just a few blocks from my house and I admire it every day when I drive by it. I can say for a fact that it looks amazing from the outside and I can't wait to become friends with whoever buys it.

So, if you just happen to have an extra $2.5 million laying around, why don't you pick up this gem of a house and invite us all over for a small housewarming party?
