Mackenzie Carpenter Playing Special Set on the Beach in Buffalo

Nashville is coming to Buffalo, New York at Sole at Woodlawn Beach for a special showcase later this July. Up-and-comer Mackenzie Carpenter is coming up to do a special showcase.

We get the opportunity to do these types of shows every once in a while where stars in Nashville are trying to visit cities to promote their music. Carpenter has a song out right now with Midland called 'I Would If I Could'. You are going to be able to see and MEET Carpenter coming up on the 15th of July.

Mackenzie is a graduate of Belmont University in Nashville and has hundreds of thousands of streams online and on YouTube. She will do a free meet and greet following her acoustic performance where she will tell you about the songs and why she wrote them. Carpenter will play at about 6:30 PM in between Dark Horse Run on Tuesday 7/15 at Sole.

THROWBACK: There was once a time that Chris Stapleton was 'up and coming' and came through Western New York. At that time, he only had one single out called 'What Are You Listening To'. We took him to Santora's Pizza over on Transit Road in Williamsville and we could hardly get any people to come--which looking back, is kind of ironic. We had to beg people to get off of their bar stools and come over and watch. This was only in about 7 years ago, too.

You don't know how someone's career is going to end up famous, but it is a fun, free way to check out some of the artists that are coming through.
