A scary situation happened earlier this week when a District Attorney received an envelope to his office with an alarming substance yesterday.

An envelope containing a white substance that was addressed to Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg was found in the mailroom on Wednesday afternoon.

Many on social media thought that the white substance could be anthrax, but police have said it was non-hazardous. The anthrax scare and problem were heightened in 2001.

His lawsuit against House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan said the office has received more than a thousand threatening or harassing calls and emails. Bragg himself has received "multiple" death threats since Trump's indictment, police sources told ABC News.
