Dollar Tree Prices Increasing AGAIN, SOON Across New York State

The Dollar Tree's 95% of transactions are of their lowest price point of $1.25, but that is going to go up at EVERY SINGLE Dollar Tree in New York State very soon.

In the beginning of 2025, the Dollar Tree announced that in order to keep business moving they need to increase the price of the $1.25 price point that people that come to love. Just a few years ago, the Dollar Tree had made the move to jump from the one dollar and make it $1.25, making customers unhappy. Though, $1.25 for some items is still a major discount for some consumers. We talked to one of the employees from the Dollar Tree who said that the increases are coming very soon and that it is one of the most asked questions by customers when they come in.

Where does all of the Dollar Trees items come from?

A lot of the stuff that the Dollar Tree buys is overstock or things that are on clearance at other stores, but the majority of all of the stuff is just from China. That doesn't come too much of a surprise because a lot of major companies get their stuff from over seas.

There is actually actually a business called Temu, based out of China that is gaining a lot of popularity in the United States. A lot of social media accounts claim that the products are not safe because of the materials that they use in the products, but after a lot of research we found that some of the items from Temu and the Dollar Tree come from the same places, so we are not sure that Temu's products being "unsafe" is a true claim.
