Erie County Fair Holding Video Band Auditions

Planning for the 2020 Erie Country Fair is underway and they are holding video auditions for area students who want to be part of their "All-Star" county band.

According to their press release, students that are in 7th through 12th grade can submit a video audition to be part of the band. They are looking for brass, woodwind, and percussion musicians and members of area color guards.

The Fair CEO and manager said that they are abiding by all COVID-19 guidelines

“As we move forward with the audition process, we will be following all guidelines set by government and health officials regarding the COVID 19 pandemic,” said CEO & Fair Manager Jessica Underberg. “Rehearsal and performance schedules will be modified as necessary to keep both band member and fairgoer health our top priority.”

Applications need to be submitted by May 18th. The Fair is set run August 12th through the 23rd.
