Erie County Hosting Free Rabies Vaccination Clinic Saturday
Erie County's Department of Health is holding a free rabies vaccination clinic this Saturday for dogs, cats, and ferrets.
It is time to protect your fur-baby from rabies and this weekend you can get the rabies vaccination for free in Erie County.
WHERE TO GO:
The rabies vaccination clinic will be held at the Town of Tonawanda's highway department building. It is located at 450 Woodward Avenue in Kenmore.
WHAT TIME:
The clinic will be held between 9 am and 1 pm and you will need to make an appointment prior to Saturday.
HOW DO I SIGN UP:
To secure a spot for your pet during this free rabies vaccination clinic, you will need to register online with Erie County. Spots are limited and it will be first come first serve. You can sign up HERE
WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW:
This clinic is a drive-thru clinic and the rabies vaccination is available for dogs, cats, and ferrets who are 3 months or older. You will also have to wear a mask while in the car as your pets receive their shots. You are also asked to bring proof of vaccination to the event in order to receive a three-year vaccination certificate; otherwise, a one-year certificate will be given.
WHAT IF I CAN'T MAKE IT SATURDAY:
Erie County's department of health will be holding a second free clinic on Saturday, May 22nd at Buffalo Public School 84 located at 462 Grider Street. All the same rules and guidelines will be in place for this clinic.
