Or perhaps you’ve taken a ride along Abbott Road to see the demolition taking place at the former Highmark Stadium site. It is now little more than a pile of rubble, waiting for the next chapter on the eastern side of Abbott Road.
But across the street, at the new Highmark Stadium, the future is just beginning.
Fans are eager to get to the seats they have paid for through their personal seat licenses (PSLs) and season tickets. They are in for a real treat, as the new stadium offers so much to see and experience. One afternoon probably won’t be enough time to take it all in.
What Buffalo Bills Fans Should Know Before the Blue & Red Scrimmage
If you are going to the Blue & Red Scrimmage, first of all, congratulations! You are officially part of history.
Secondly, make sure you understand where you need to enter the stadium and familiarize yourself with the traffic patterns that will be established before the event. There will be some road closures and potentially new parking areas that you may not be familiar with.
The Buffalo Bills have done a great job using social media to get the word out about the changes and help fans prepare for their first major event at the new Highmark Stadium.

New Traffic Pattern Near Orchard Park and Armor Duells Road
If you are driving in from the southern part of Orchard Park, areas like Boston, or anywhere along Route 219 northbound toward Armor Duells Road, there is a new traffic flow pattern you should be aware of.
Over the last couple of months, crews have been hard at work on a new roundabout at Murphy Road and Armor Duells Road.
I recently drove through the roundabout on the first day that a portion of it opened, heading westbound toward Orchard Park, the same general direction you would take toward the new Highmark Stadium.
I have to say, it is an impressive roundabout. However, there are more twists, turns, and zigzags than you might expect.
The design is interesting and should help keep traffic moving, especially on Buffalo Bills game days and other major events at Highmark Stadium.
