5K RUN/WALK

5K RUN/WALK for Make-A-Wish. Starts at 9:30 at Town of Albion Bldg in Albion, NY. Course will be well marked with free water along the route. All ages welcome and prizes awarded for best costume (costumes are optional), first to cross, best team, age group and there will also be a Tae Kwon do demonstration. Registration forms are available on our website: www.kwandranstkd.com or you can call the school: 585-798-6091 . All proceeds from this race will be donated to Make-A-Wish of WNY. This is one of several fundraisers Kwandrans Tae Kwon do has done to try to raise $8500 to grant a "wish" for a child in the WNY area. We have been touched by this organization through one of our own students, a 12 year old boy with Cystic Fibrosis who recently was granted a wish to Walt Disney World in Florida with his family in May. He continues to attend Tae Kwon do classes and is also helping to raise money for another child. Currently, our total is more than half way to our goal from Bake Sales, Kick-A-Thon, Chicken BBQ, candy bar sales and selling Make-A-Wish "stars", which can be seen plastered all over the front windows of our studio in downtown Medina. We hope to see many runners and walkers to come out for a great time and to raise money for a fantastic organization. Please help us to help put a smile on a child's face.
