Parkside Lutheran Church will present dramatic readings of holiday classics on Saturday, December 1st at 7:00 pm. Admission is $8.00 and will benefit the Kenmore/North Buffalo Food Pantry. Tickets may be purchased at the door or prior to the event at the church office: Parkside Lutheran Church, 2 Wallace Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14214. Call (716) 836-1361 for questions.

The stories include: A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens (Adapted by Richard Swallow), The Gift of the Magi by O.Henry (Play by Dan Neidermyer), The Christmas Truce by Aaron Shepard, and The Story of “Silent Night” by Michael C. Vigilant. Silent Night was created 200 years ago and was shared to the world for the first time at the St. Nikola Church in Oberndorf near Salzburg.

As with the magic of “Silent Night” a song that gives hope and is performed in over 300 languages, the holiday stories being performed share the magic of the season along with messages of giving, caring, and the love shown for others. We hope you will join as as the Christmas Season begins.
