Additional Information

Dust off your detective badges, pull out your fingerprint kits and polish up your magnifying glasses: Hearts and Hands is once again holding “Board to Death: A boredom-busting mystery-solving scavenger hunt,” a fundraising event for families and friends, held in the village of Akron, NY on May 21st, beginning with registration at 1:30 PM in Russell Park. Participants walk to Village of Akron businesses and organizations to receive clue cards and submit their final guesses for a chance to win the grand prize. Dinner will be provided by Orazio’s Restaurant at the L.L. Tillman American Legion NY Post 900. The event will feature additional raffles (raffle tickets acquired separately) and live music from the Shopkeepers. Tickets are available with a $20 pre-sale donation before May 3rd or $25 donation after that date. All proceeds benefit Hearts and Hands, a local non-profit whose mission is to provide basic transportation and services to older and physically-challenged adults through a network of volunteers. Begun in Akron in 2003, Hearts and Hands currently serves nearly 700 care receivers in over 25 municipalities in Western New York. The event is sponsored by Friedman and Ranzenhofer, PC and New York Life. To secure your ticket, please visit our
