HOMELESS FEMALE VETERANS 5K RACE/WALK

The ECAL Veterans for Veterans, Inc. will hold their 1st annual 5K race/walk honoring our HOMELESS FEMALE VETERANS on Sunday October 11, 2015 at the South Buffalo American Legion Post #721, located at 136 Cazenovia Street in Buffalo.

Registration and check in will begin at 9:00AM and the race will step off from the post at 11:00AM sharp.

An after race party and theme basket raffle will be held in the post's upstairs hall with refreshments, pork sandwiches, salads and music.

Money raised will benefit transitional housing for our Homeless Female Veterans and their children.

Today it’s estimated that 20% of our homeless veterans are female. We hope that this event will bring the community together so that we can bring awareness and educate people about the reality of our homeless population.
