Women Who Move the City

Join us for a fun filled evening on Thursday, April 10, 2014, as Big Brothers Big Sisters of Erie County (BBBSEC) hosts our first annual women’s event at Pearl at the Webb (76 Pearl St. Buffalo 14202). We will be celebrating women who through volunteerism are making a difference in our community.

Women Who Move the City is BBBSEC’s very first women’s event to
raise funds to go towards supporting our mentoring programs. BBBSEC
serves over 500 children annually, 65% of the children we serve are
girls and 75% of our volunteers are women.

Women Who Move the City is a new event that recognizes our
volunteers as well as women who volunteer throughout the Western
New York Area. This is a night to celebrate these women who are
positively impacting lives of others and making a difference in our
community. It is also an evening to enjoy a one of a kind shopping
experience, demonstrations, food tastings and meet other people who
are volunteering their time to make our community thrive.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Erie County is an organization where quality relationships are built on friendship and trust. These relationships are proven to have a significant and positive influence on the life of the child and the volunteer.

Ticket price is $40 advanced purchase and $50 at the door and includes 2 hours of open bar, hors d'oeuvres plus a swag bag filled with goodies and a chance to win a door prize! All are encouraged to attend!
