Exciting New For Runners In The Northtowns

There is some great news for anyone who loves to run, walk or hike in the Northtowns of Western New York! Runner's Roost is getting ready to open it's newest location!

The second Runner's Roost will be located at 5841 Transit Rd in East Amherst.

Owners Robert and Michelle Fox, announced the news via Instagram this past week. Runner's Roost has been a Western New York household name since 1978 and offers expert fitting and advice for runners. Since the beginning of the COVID pandemic, many people have decided to get outside and exercise. Running is the perfect way for families to exercise together and it can be done at any age and WNY has plenty of scenic trails to run.

As summer begins, more races and events are coming back. Some are going to be held in person and others virtual. The Buffalo Marathon announced that it will happen in a modified form.

Following Governor Cuomo's press release today, we've been notified that we now have the official state approval to move forward with producing the Buffalo Marathon!

The Buffalo Marathon Weekend will take place on June 26th & 27th, 2021, in Buffalo, NY

When you attend a running event in the Buffalo area, there is a good chance Runner's Roost will be on site and an even better chance that the shoes most runners are wearing we purchased at Runner's Roost!
