We've all got checklists of things we need to get done throughout our week. Halloween is normally when we see the biggest change in our weather

Halloween weekend has become a bit of  a checkpoint for people leading up to winter because it's normally the time when we see the most notable change in the weather in Western New York. October can mean anything when it comes to the weather here. We've seen 80 degree days with a ton of sunshine, we've seen rainy days where we need to check on our sump pumps every couple of hours, and we've seen snow storms that have shut the city down.

Don't wait to get these things done until after it snows

We've all done it before. We think that the weather is going to hold out, so we put off doing all those tasks that we hate. Then, one morning, we wake up and look out the back window to see our patio furniture covered in snow. Then it's an even worse task to have to get done.
